After two full months of a soft launch, Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary is pausing for a short time during the upcoming winter season! But before we do, let’s celebrate and be thankful!

And we are so thankful to all our guests who shared their time with us during these last few months! Over 180 of you decided to try Goat Yoga here at HTSS; for many of you, it was for the first time! And dare I say, you loved it?!

We are thankful for all of you! Those that cheer us on, share our stories, share our website, our posts, our videos, our TV news features. We are thank that you were excited for us when we introduced our logo and brand, when we launched our website, and broadcasted our public schedule and all the tidbits announced since then! We love your enthusiasm and the work you are doing behind the scenes while no one is watching! It does NOT go unnoticed.
Polka Dot Powerhouse
We are thankful to several women of the local Polka Dot Powerhouse group who helped us by participating in “practice classes” weeks before our first public class. This helped us AND the goats to “understand the assignment!” The PDP women who participated in these practice classes offered us invaluable feedback that helped shape and improve the public classes so our guests had the best experience possible.

We are thankful to our very talented and open-hearted, open-minded yoga instructors as well! These very talented instructors SHOWED UP for us and offered our guests a relaxing and effective yoga sequence every time! Each class our guests would praise Casey, Abigail, Stasha and Shaylae for their soothing movements that offered space for joy, curiosity and peace!

We are also very thankful to our “behind the scenes” VIP contributors who helped build this space for our guests and our animals! Some of you may know that our neighbors Kevin, Mary and Josh have been an interictal and critical part of getting this dream off the ground. We honestly could not have done most, if not all, of this without these three — who are kind-hearted, hard working and above all FRAMILY (friends that are family) to us!

We are also thankful to our mentors for goats and alpacas – those that shared their time and knowledge (day after day and hours upon hours) with us and who helped to give us hands-on experience so our alpaca girls and goat girls would be safe, healthy and happy when they arrived to the Sanctuary! A big shout out to Wendy and Jerry Campbell of the Justorian Alpacas in Osseo, WI and Bob and Anna Becker of the Huacaya Hills Alpacas in Black River Falls, WI. That’s where our alpaca girls came from!
And our goat mentors include Wayne Greene of Cadott, WI and Lindsay, Linda and Lacey Baumann of Pine View Lake Farm in Westfield, WI as well as Lauren with Aubrey’s Acres Nigerian Dwarfs in Gilman, WI. Pearl and her gang came from Westfield and Talleulah and Matilda came to us from Gilman.
Plus countless other alpaca and goat farmers within a two-hour radius of Fall Creek, WI – let us tell you, if any alpaca or goat farmer was willing to show us something, we were there!
What’s next?
Being thankful and showing gratitude are part of the philosophy at HTSS. Taking a few moments to bask in the joy and peace are too. We plan to do that for a spell. And then… AND THEN, we will be feverishly planning our GRAND OPENING in the spring and all the events we want to offer you in 2024! So get ready for more announcements from HTSS in the weeks and months ahead!
