Meet the Crew!

Born 9/2/2012, is the smallest of our herd but is also the nosiest. She will at times, be wondering what you are doing if you are not paying her any mind. LOLA is a Huacaya.

Black Magic

aka lola (little one little alpaca)

Born 6/2/2010, is a curious alpaca and often can be found rolling in the sand for her daily bath or palling around with Lola. If you look close, you’ll see that her eyelashes are at least 5 inches long! Gracie is a Huacaya.

Princess Grace

aka gracie

Born 3/12/2015, is the most bashful of the alpacas but will also step in to give Lacey a break from watch duty from time to time. Often found with hay or straw hanging from her fiber – Straw hair, don’t care! Oliva is a Huacaya.

Born 7/1/2010, is the herd leader and guardian. She takes her job very seriously and any possible threat is met with a fierce alpaca alarm call! Lacey is a Suri.

Born 9/16/2011, is the most loving of the alpacas. She is motivated by tasty treats and midday cold showers in the summer. Goldie is also a Suri.

aka goldie

Is a round, plump girl who also enjoys tons of pets and kisses from her human owners and friends. She is also very vocal at times! She’ll let you know if there is something she wants to discuss!

aka tully

Is milk chocolate in color with a white heart shaped mark on her side. Matilda likes to take walks around the pasture and keeps very close to her owners during these strolls. She and her buddy, Talleulah, are the friendliest of the crew.

aka tilly

Pearl is… well, infamous. She made her grand escape from HTSS a few hours of her arrival. After a week at large, Pearl was safely returned to her herd and remains (fingers crossed) confined to her fenced-in sanctuary space with her herd mates.

Named after Kristina’s mother. She has a distractive mark on her side that looks like a shark fin. She can be the most rambunctious of the group and at times will ram her goat mates for no apparent reason.

Named  after Kristina’s Grandma. Virginia is the teeniest of the goats in our herd and can be very loving. She will stop whatever she is doing if you give her a pat or two.

Named after Tiffany’s mother and does not stray from Rosie very often. Rosie and RJ are two peas in a pod most days.

aka rita jane

Rosie is named after Tiffany’s Grandma and has asserted herself as the group leader most days.

house cats

An all-black, long-hair cat whose main job is to be a total nuisance and keep his owners awake at all hours of the night. He also loves snacks and cuddle time with his #1 mom, Tiffany.

(little kitty)

A tuxedo cat whose main job in life is to be an emotional support cat for Kristina. He loves eating snacks and spending hours in lap-time mode in the living room chair.

Has had a wonderfully wild wellness journey! In 2019 when her mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma, Shaylae knew some changes had to be made. She earned a 200 hour yoga certification through Breathe for Change, began training to become a Reiki Master Teacher, and became certified in Reflexology.

As a full time music teacher, Shaylae has led elementary, middle school, and high school students through mindful movement and yoga classes after school or during homeroom. She has also offered free weekly classes to her colleagues, to her school community members, and to the surrounding communities.

Shaylae continued her wellness journey by participating in a women’s shamanic study group called Spirit Flow. Led by Mary Newstrom, Shaylae studied with the group for two years. She also completed her 300 hour yoga training through Yoga Farm Ithaca, focusing on Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda, Enneagram, and Lunar Wisdom.

Shaylae believes that yoga is for every body and paces her classes so that students can choose their level of difficulty and intensity. Every class has many different options and modifications. She continues to study how to make her classes more inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.

Shaylae will be leading most Saturday morning sessions.

An enthusiast of life, Casey lives with purpose and intention, love and kindness. His yoga journey began in 2018 when he fell in love with the practice and its transformative power to create positive change. He completed his 200 hour yoga certification with The Yoga Room in Eau Claire, WI.

The first yoga workshop Casey took propelled him to explore the deeper aspects of yoga where he found for himself how yoga enables us to live more authentic and meaningful lives. He continues to learn how as we become more self-aware through the practice of yoga we are able to find greater freedom and joy in all that we do.

Besides yoga, he also supports the health and well-being of others through the methods of Whisperology™ which is a holistic healing modality that assists the innate healing response of a person's being by helping them become more coherent with themselves and the environment around them.

Casey believes that life is a little sweeter when lived with a laugh and a smile. He is excited to be a part of the Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary team and for the opportunity to share yoga with both humans and goats!
