Participants in Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC events, agree to the following terms and conditions:
GENERAL INFORMATION
• Participants must be at least 16 years of age or older. Please see YOUNG STUDENT POLICY for more information. No exceptions will be allowed.
• No outside pets are allowed on HTSS property.
• Wear comfortable, washable clothing. Put long hair up, and avoid long, dangly and sparkly jewelry. Athletic-blend T-shirts are discouraged as the material is slippery for goat hoofs! Cotton t-shirts/sweatshirts are best.
• You may bring a water bottle and hand towel. Personal items (purses or backpacks) can be left at home or in a locked car. Phones/cameras are encouraged for Insta posts or Tik Tok reels. Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Admission into the goat and/or alpaca yoga space is only allowed with a paid reservation and a signed waiver.
• Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of class to allow plenty of time to check-in and sign the waiver.
• All class reservations are to be made online, in advance.
• Our entire property is smoke free. No smoking or vaping is permitted.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS AND INJURIES Anyone with serious medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in our fun fitness classes. Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary classes offer a wonderfully therapeutic practice and we encourage you to listen to your body, taking the appropriate modifications. Your yoga practice should not cause pain. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries prior to the start of class.
YOUNG STUDENT POLICY Any student under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver. Our classes are designed for students 16 years of age and older. Students under 18 years of age may attend classes when a parent or guardian is in attendance for the same class providing they want to attend the class and participate. To participate in Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC events, you need to be 18 or older, or be age 16 or older and have your parent or guardian’s consent to the agreements listed below.
** Minors may not roam the Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary property unsupervised while the parent or guardian takes a class. The Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary owners and/or staff are not authorized to supervise children.**
LIABILITY RELEASE A paid reservation to the goat and/or alpaca session also means the participant (s) agree to the following and this agreement releases all individuals related to Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary events.
I agree to hold Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC and all those associated entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
I also acknowledge the risks involved in Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC events. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. Participant understands that farm animals will be part of the goat and/or alpaca yoga activity and accepts and assumes the risks associated with the use of farm animals while engaging in this activity. Participant hereby freely and expressly assumes all risks of property damage, injury and death associated with goat and/or alpaca yoga and farm animals. In consideration for participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga, participant hereby agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify the yoga instructor, and Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company, their members, heirs, successors, assigns, independent contractors, employees, agents and instructors from any and all claims by or on behalf of participant against any claim, injury or otherwise arising directly or indirectly out the participant’s participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga.
I forfeit all right to bring a suit against Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC and all those associated for any reason.
THE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS READ THIS RELEASE, FULLY UNDERSTANDS ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS, UNDERSTANDS THAT HE/SHE HAS GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AND HAS SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO THE UNDERSIGNED AND INTENDS HIS/HER SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ANY AND ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
APPEARANCE RELEASE
I hereby acknowledge that I am of legal age, and affirm that “Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC” has the right and permission to use my name and to use, reproduce, edit, exhibit, project, display, copyright, publish images and/or moving pictures and/or videotaped images of me with or without my voice, or in which I may be included in whole or in part, photographed, taped, videotaped, and/or recorded to circulate the same in all forms and media for art and advertising.
I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect and/or approve the finished product or products or the editorial, advertising that may be used in connection therewith and any right that I may have to control the use to which said product may be applied.
WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Participant understands that goat and/or alpaca yoga involves physical exertion and that injuries may occur when participant in such activities. Participant accepts and assumes the risks associated with goat and/or alpaca yoga, including, but not limited to, overexertion, inability to perform suggested exercises or maneuvers, physical or mental conditions that impede the ability to properly perform suggested exercises or maneuvers, and failure to following instructions. Participant understand that farm animals will be part of the goat and/or alpaca yoga activity and accepts and assumes the risks associated with the use of farm animals while engaging in this activity. Participant hereby freely and expressly assumes all risks of property damage, injury and death associated with goat and/or alpaca yoga and farm animals. Participant understand that it is his/her responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga. Participant represents and warrants that he/she has no physical or mental condition that would prevent full participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga. Participant agrees to inform his/her instructor immediately of any physical or mental condition that would prevent his/her full participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga. In consideration for participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga, participant hereby agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify the yoga instructor, and Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company, their members, heirs, successors, assigns, independent contractors, employees, agents and instructors (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC”) from any and all claims by or on behalf of participant against any claim, injury or otherwise arising directly or indirectly out the participant’s participation in goat and/or alpaca yoga. This release includes claims and liabilities arising from any cause whatsoever, including, but not limited to, negligence on the part of Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC. This release is binding upon participant, and participant’s heirs, assigns and legal representatives. If signing on behalf of a minor participant, parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred due to the minor’s participation in goat/alpaca yoga and agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify (including costs and attorney’s fees) Hidden Timber Soul Sanctuary, LLC for any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor.
