According to www.nationaldaycalendar.com today is the National Day of “I AM.”
How we speak to ourselves creates our reality. When we can believe what we speak in our own minds, it can direct our path in life as well as have a ripple effect to others we connect with.
I AM are two powerful words. Follow it with positive phrases or affirmations about yourself and you can confirm or change how you feel about yourself.
According to an article published in Sept. 2020, at psychologytoday.com, “Your self-concept is made up of I am beliefs about who you are presently, and I can beliefs about who you are capable of being in the future. From these I am and I can statements you create stories and narratives about who you are, that you tell yourself and other people all day long.”
Ponder what National I AM Day is all about and you’ll soon discover it encourages everyone to reach their full potential through self-empowerment, self-motivation, and self-encouragement. Starting with positive I AM statements.
I am a goat and alpaca farmer.
I am a loving mother, wife, friend, sister and daughter.
I am hardworking, driven and accountable.
I am funny, kind, nurturing and creative.
If you’re going down the rabbit hole of the opposite rhetoric, like:
I am tired.
I am stressed.
I am in need of a break.
I am at a breaking point.
I am too serious and could use a laugh and some joy and fun in my life.
